Legion Providing DVDs to Schools
The four schools in Weyburn – Assiniboia Park Elementary School, Legacy Park Elementary School, St. Michael’s School and Weyburn Comprehensive School – all received a visit from the Royal Canadian Legion Friday. The purpose, the presentation of a copy of Canada Remembers, a set of DVDs produced by Thomega Productions. The Legion purchased them for each school. Read Full Story

In June 2019, The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #7, Transcona, Poppy Fund Committee graciously partnered with Thomega Entertainment and have since contributed, nine (9) sets of the Canada Remembers Commemorative School project to nine area schools, including; Bernie Wolfe Community Center, Arthur Day Middle School, Ecole Regent Park School, John W. Gunn Middle School, College Pierre-Elliot Trudeau, Murdoch Mackay Collegiate, Transcona Christian School and Calvin Christian Collegiate. We thank all the legions who are participating, coast to coast.
The following notice was recently sent to the Canada Remembers Commemorative School Committee, recently from an Ontario School.
